Andrew Hall* supports McGlinchey’s consumer finance clients by helping oversee the firm’s licensing projects. He works to obtain and maintain licenses, serves as client point of contact to coordinate applications and supporting documents, and sustains productive relationships with various regulating entities.
Andrew has more than a decade of experience managing lending company and branch licenses and examinations, as well as Mortgage Loan Originator and Branch Manager licensing for mortgage lenders and servicers of various scales. He has managed licensing programs across all 50 states plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, and overseen licensing operations for numerous branch locations. Andrew has managed and been the single point of contact for multiple compliance examinations originating from state regulatory agencies, most often occurring simultaneously between several different agencies. Andrew has also overseen, from start to finish, and was the single point of contact for a Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) examination conducted by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), in which his organization, communication, and professionalism received the highest marks given by the Bureau.
Andrew has presented at the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR) conferences on various topics and issues the industry was facing. He was also invited to present by various Mortgage Regulators at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) Regulator Training School as a representative of industry, providing guidance and insights into pain points industry users experience through both the NMLS system as well as the varying processes and procedures of regulatory bodies.
