clerkships and internships

As a law student, Andrew clerked in McGlinchey’s New Orleans office on three occasions, including as the firm’s LCLD 1L Scholar. As a McGlinchey clerk, Andrew gained experience with civil litigation, including matters involving personal jurisdiction, as well as financial services regulatory compliance.

He gained in-house nonprofit experience as an intern with the Human Rights Campaign and served as a summer extern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He also clerked with the Tulane University Legal Assistance Program, the law school’s pro bono clinic.

outside the office

When he's not serving clients, Andrew enjoys visiting the beautiful outdoor experiences New Orleans has to offer, ideally with his handsome Golden Retriever, August. He is committed to the resilient people of Louisiana, and New Orleans in particular, and is passionate about issues ranging from fair housing and wealth disparities to preserving the city's culture and history. Indeed, he has made it a goal to try every New Orleans restaurant before he dies! Andrew is also a staunch advocate for social justice, particularly issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community. Finally, he's a gym rat who enjoys working out and an avid supporter of the Saints and Ragin' Cajuns.
