Deirdre McGlinchey is a trial lawyer who has successfully defended clients in individual claims, class actions, and multidistrict litigation, and tried cases before state and federal courts. Deirdre regularly represents large manufacturers in products liability cases and has handled matters involving construction, mining, and agricultural equipment; diesel and natural gas engines; industrial turbines; automotive design; marine propulsion systems; toxic torts; and medical devices.
While a significant portion of her practice involves litigation in Louisiana, Deirdre also regularly handles matters in several other states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Deirdre is active in the management of the firm and serves on the firm’s Policy Committee. She is also the former head of the firm’s General Litigation section and previously served as Chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
