Farren Lorraine Davis’ practice focuses on defending large manufacturers in products liability and medical malpractice cases. She handles matters for clients in the automobile, industrial equipment, and medical device industries, among others. She also has experience assisting clients with asbestos and toxic torts issues, labor and employment law, and commercial litigation.
While attending law school, Farren interned at New Orleans Workers Center for Racial Justice. She also clerked at several firms in the New Orleans area, including McGlinchey Stafford, as a summer associate.
In law school, Farren was a recipient of the CALI award for achieving the highest grade in Family Law, Torts, Property, and Criminal Law. She also won “best team” in the intraschool Moot Court Competition. While at SULC, she served as an editor on Law Review, and a member of the National Black Law Students Association, Moot Court, American Inn of Court, and the Student Bar Association. She also was recognized for graduating in the top ten percent of her class.
