I have always had a passion for both business and the law, which led me to pursue both Public Financial Management and Law and Public Policy in college. Financial services litigation is an ideal intersection of my intellectual interests. Now in private practice, I use my depth of knowledge in real estate to advise my financial services clients on all types of title issues.
With previous experience as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 title insurance company, Kayleigh is adept at resolving a wide range of title issues. She represents financial institutions in an array of litigation and contested matters. She counsels clients on issues involving creditors’ rights, mortgage litigation, and asset protection along with defense of litigation surrounding broader real estate disputes, contracts, and construction defects.
Clients and opposing counsel consider Kayleigh a cordial lawyer who couples an understanding tone with aggressive strategy when necessary. She sees her adaptability as a key strength when navigating litigation strategy. Her previous experience with clients from a diverse array of backgrounds positions her to analyze and explain a given legal issue to any audience.
Kayleigh’s dedication and work ethic are evidenced by her achieving dual licensure in two states in the first two years of practice. In addition to in-house experience, she worked as a Judicial Intern for Franklin Circuit Court Judge Thomas Wingate in Frankfurt, Kentucky.
