It’s important to me to understand my client’s business because, when I do, I can provide the most helpful advice. I give them legal advice, of course, but I’m also looking to give them solutions to problems that will benefit their business. If I can prevent the need for litigation, I want to do that. If litigation is the best answer, I want to do it in a way that best meets the client’s long-term business objectives.
