Across my career, I’ve focused on helping organizations small and large find and engage with stakeholders - from clients to referral sources, partners, and funders. I’ve found that thought leaders often assume that, because they’re so attuned to the work they do, it’s common sense to others. So I thrive on working with them to extract those key messages, weave them into a compelling narrative, and develop strategies to effectively reach their target audience.
Lauren Knotts serves as McGlinchey’s Sr. Communications and Public Relations Manager, based out of Baton Rouge. In this role, she manages communications projects across all offices to promote the firm’s practice areas, industry groups, offices, and individual attorneys. Her work spans media and public relations strategy, content marketing and thought leadership, branding, digital media, website content, social media, and internal communications. She works alongside the rest of the firm’s Marketing and Business Development team to drive strategic initiatives forward and ensure all communications are intentional, targeted, and aligned with the firm’s overall goals.
Previously, Lauren spent a decade in communications, marketing, and fund development in the non-profit field. In these roles, she managed projects and teams to produce a wide range of written and digital content as well as sponsorships and events. Passionate about delivering exceptional results, Lauren strives each day for meaningful collaboration, creative execution, and innovative programming to set McGlinchey apart in an ever-changing business and legal landscape.
