I look at being a manager, supervisor, and leader as being a part of the team, not the boss, and endeavor to make sure all levels of employees feel included. I experience similar obstacles as my staff and I strive to make sure they know I am here to help support and lead everyone to a common goal. I aim to bring compassion and understanding to every situation in a way that does not compromise what we need to accomplish.
Michelle Bratcher is the firm’s Director of Administration. Based in the firm’s Baton Rouge office, Michelle has served McGlinchey for more than a decade. Prior to her current role, she served as the Strategic Operations Administrator, and before that, Regional Administrator for the Baton Rouge office.
In her current role, Michelle supervises all the Regional Administrators and the management of each office, works on the development and implementation of policy and procedures, and actively participates in various firm-wide projects and initiatives. Additionally, Michelle assists with the opening of new offices, manages new office setup and integration processes, and serves as the acting Regional Administrator for new offices.
Prior to joining McGlinchey, Michelle worked for JP Morgan Chase Bank for 10 years in various Operational Management and Project Management capacities. Her experience includes managing large departments of personnel, managing operating and project budgets, and managing large scale projects related to department/office establishments, moves, and mergers and acquisitions.
Furthermore, Michelle is a proud veteran, serving for 8 years in the U.S. Army.
