I'm happy when I can bring technology solutions to business problems. My favorite aspect of what I do is working with our team to understand the issues our attorneys and staff face, and then identifying solutions for them. Although we're not a "tech firm," I strive to bring tech solutions to our people so that they can be more efficient, perform better, and succeed for our clients.

Based in New Orleans, Thad Hymel is McGlinchey’s Chief Information Officer. Thad leads a self-managed, customer-oriented team consisting of application developers, project managers, network engineers, telecommunication analysts, and database analysts that service our nationwide law firm.  His staff of IT professionals serves the firm’s employees with all technology needs from help desk to network operations. Through developing, communicating, and delivering the vision and strategies necessary to achieve the firm’s technological and business goals, he ensures that attorneys and staff are efficient, easily able to solve problems, and provide our clients with the best service possible.

For the past two decades, Thad has managed various technology initiatives, from the development of an online banking system for a regional financial institution to leading McGlinchey’s disaster recovery following Hurricane Katrina.
