McGlinchey Stafford Mourns the Loss of Our Colleague, Bennet S. Koren
Read Time: 1 minIt is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of our partner and good friend, Bennet Koren. Bennet passed away the evening of Thursday, November 24. For further information, view Bennet’s obituary here.
Bennet joined McGlinchey Stafford in 1981 and led the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Compliance practice. For more than 30 years, Bennet practiced in the areas of bank regulatory and consumer credit law providing counsel to clients throughout the United States. A subject matter authority in his field and a mentor to many, Bennet was widely recognized as a nationwide leader in consumer financial services compliance law. He was also a frequent, highly sought-after speaker. Bennet received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1977 and his B.A., with honors, from Michigan State University in 1974.
