McGlinchey Stafford Names Kristi W. Richard as a Member of the Firm
Read Time: 1 minMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce the naming of Kristi W. Richard as a Member of the firm. Richard joined McGlinchey Stafford’s Baton Rouge office as an Associate in 2009.
“Kristi has established herself as an outstanding member of the Baton Rouge legal and business communities,” said Rudy Aguilar, Managing Member of McGlinchey Stafford. “She goes above and beyond the call to help business clients succeed, and sets a high standard for leadership through community service and teaching. We are proud to promote such an accomplished individual as Kristi to membership in our firm.”
Richard advises business clients, including small businesses, lenders, insurance companies, and producers regarding general business and corporate matters, insurance regulation and compliance issues, and commercial lending. She also advises clients in matters of Louisiana wills, trusts and estates. In addition to her practice, Richard serves as Adjunct Professor of Sports Law and Business Law at Louisiana State University.

Richard received her J.D. and D.C.L., magna cum laude, from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, in 2009. She also holds an M.B.A. (2009) and B.S. degree (2004, summa cum laude) from Louisiana State University. She serves in leadership positions within the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and Junior League of Baton Rouge. Richard was also selected to participate in the 2015 Baton Rouge Area Leadership Program.
