Vaccines in the Workplace in the time of COVID

As the world awaits the arrival of an effective and safe vaccine to protect individuals from the COVID contagion, employers need to prepare their policies and practices on this topic. Questions abound regarding the mandatory nature of a vaccine, best practices for use in the workplace, the refusal of employees to submit to the vaccine for a variety of reasons, the liability of employer sponsored vaccinations, and other legal issues arising from the use of this illusive vaccine. 

Mag Bickford and Shannon Sale (New Orleans) will present “Vaccines in the Workplace in the time of COVID” on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, during the New Orleans Bar Association’s Procrastinators’ Program. Mag and Shannon will examine these issues and more while considering anticipated best practices and policy development as the world searches for a resolution of the current health crisis.
