Amy will first moderate “Compliance Officers Discussion Forum: Canada & Europe Regulation Updates” on November 14, 2023. This panel will explore critical regulatory trends for the industry in Canada and Europe, shedding light on their significance.
Amy will then join the “Money Transfer Compliance Certification (MTCC) Advanced Compliance Workshop: State & Federal Level Updates” panel on November 14, 2023. This panel will provide updates on regulations at the state and federal levels, as well as need-to-know information on changes occurring in the State Regulatory System and how they affect businesses.
Finally, Amy will participate in a Compliance Officers Discussion Forum on “Optimizing Compliance: Best Practices and Strategies for Partner Due Diligence in Cross-Border Payments” on November 15, 2023. She and her fellow panelists will lead discussions on optimizing compliance processes and mitigating risks associated with international transactions, offering attendees valuable insights and practical guidance to enhance due diligence protocols and ensure regulatory adherence in cross-border payments.

Amy was a former state regulator for 15 years and is a nationally recognized leader in Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) compliance. She counsels financial institutions on a national basis in a wide range of matters related to residential and commercial mortgage lending, consumer finance lending, debt collection, and money services, and offers particular capabilities for FinTech and money services clients in transactions involving cryptocurrency, virtual currency, and digital assets.
