She is involved with a number of legal associations, such as the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Women’s Bar Association, and the Home Builders Association of Portage and Summit Counties. McGlinchey has sponsored an attorney in LCLD’s Pathfinder program since 2019.
“We are proud Alfred and Stephanie will represent McGlinchey in LCLD’s development programs,” said Eliska Plunkett, Chief Diversity Officer at McGlinchey. “They are both excellent attorneys who uphold LCLD’s values of strong leadership and inclusion, and we look forward to their continued development as professionals.”
“We congratulate Alfred and Stephanie on being named to these prestigious programs. We believe that the legal profession is made stronger with input from a cross-representation of the public we serve. LCLD provides critical opportunities for the legal community to drive ourselves forward in embracing change. I am proud to have pledged my support to those ideals through its Leaders at the Front initiative, and we look forward to advancing our #McGlincheyForward programs to improve legal diversity outcomes on a broader scale,” said Michael D. Ferachi, Managing Member of McGlinchey.
The LCLD has recognized McGlinchey as a Top Performer every year since 2018 and as a Compass Award winner (the LCLD’s highest honor) twice. From the firm’s inception, McGlinchey has challenged the status quo and earned a reputation as a progressive, merit-based business that rewards individual achievement and potential. Since 2012, McGlinchey has also offered an annual 1L Fellowship through the LCLD Scholars program to a first-year law student, which includes a $5,000 scholarship, a paid Summer Associate position, and formal mentorship from McGlinchey attorneys throughout the student’s law school career.
In addition to active LCLD membership, McGlinchey actively supports the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society and Association of Women Attorneys, among other organizations, as well as its own Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, Uplift women’s initiative, African American Affinity Group, Asian Affinity Group, Hispanic Affinity Group, and LGBTQ+ Affinity Group.
