MTCC Advanced Compliance Workshop

Member Amy Greenwood-Field (Washington, DC) will participate in an MTCC (Money Transfer Compliance Certification) Advanced Compliance Workshop, with updates on regulations at the state and federal level, at the CrossTech World 2022 Conference on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Miami, Florida.

Amy and her co-presenter will provide need-to-know information on changes occurring in the State Regulatory System and how they affect businesses. The workshop will include an overview of what this means for virtual currency as well and will offer updates on the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) of 2020 and the CPFB’s recent enforcement actions for remittance companies.

Amy is a former state regulator for 15 years and a nationally recognized leader in Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) compliance. She counsels financial institutions on a national basis in a wide range of matters related to residential and commercial mortgage lending, consumer finance lending, debt collection, and money services, and offers particular capabilities for FinTech and money services clients in transactions involving cryptocurrency, virtual currency, and digital assets.
