Mary has been honored as a Volunteer Activist, an Olympic Torchbearer, one of Baton Rouge's 25 Outstanding Women, and YWCA Women of Achievement. She received the Community Leadership Award from the Baton Rouge Chamber's Leadership Alumni. Mary is a graduate of CABL's Louisiana Leadership program and a recipient of the Louisiana Bar Association's Crystal Gavel Award.

Outside the Office

In her free time, Mary stays active – enjoying bicycling, walking, swimming, hiking, Zumba, and yoga. She enjoys international travel and has visited countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, collecting ceramic wine goblets from local artists wherever she goes.
