Financial technology services companies have continued to innovate, and regulatory agencies have continued to react to their innovations. During the past year, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau issued a formal proposal relating to its revised policy on no-action letters and its financial service product sandbox. State legislatures also continue to enact similar regulatory sandboxes.
