I make it a point to understand my client’s business, and I see the big picture. What are we dealing with? What is the best approach to solve the problem at hand? If my client wants to quickly resolve the situation, we can do that. But if they’re determined to litigate, then we will follow that path aggressively. I love to litigate because the goal is to get a win for my client.
Robert Denny has more than a decade of experience in defending domestic and international businesses, insureds and insurers, in a variety of industries. His practice focuses primarily on mass torts and products liability claims in the transportation and heavy equipment contexts. Rob has represented manufacturers of oil field equipment, cranes, and other machinery and products, as well as one of the world’s largest oil companies. In addition, he has represented clients in maritime personal injury and property claims for many years.
Descended from generations of farmers and educators, Rob was exposed to large machinery and equipment throughout his youth. This practical experience positions him to engage in informed, effective conversations with contacts at every level of his clients’ businesses, from operators, engineers, and plant supervisors to CEOs, Vice Presidents, and in-house counsel.
Much of Rob’s career has been focused on disputes in the transportation industries prevalent in south Louisiana, from trucking to maritime, river, and platform operations. He leverages this experience to serve McGlinchey’s national and international client base.
