Of Counsel Sanford Shatz and Associate Zeeshan Iqbal (Irvine) will present “California Legislative Review: A Discussion of the New Laws (and Regulations) that Impact California’s Banking and Lending Industries” for the Orange County Bar Association Banking & Lending Section in Newport Beach, California, on February 20, 2024.

The Governor signed 890 bills enacted by the Legislature in 2023 and vetoed 156 bills. During this program, Sandy and Zee will discuss California’s new laws enacted in 2023 and some of the new regulations implemented by relevant agencies that impact the Banking and Lending Industry. Their presentation will include a discussion of how the new laws will impact lenders, borrowers, and consumers, and what the parties can do to prepare.
