Litigator Kevin Buryanek Joins McGlinchey in Cleveland
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Kevin A. Buryanek has joined the firm’s Financial Services Litigation Group as an Associate Attorney in the Cleveland office. Kevin is one of 42 attorneys McGlinchey has added in 2023 as part of a concentrated recruitment initiative to grow its nationally recognized team of attorneys.

Kevin assists financial services companies in various litigated matters, primarily related to claims brought under consumer protection statutes. His diverse clientele includes mortgage servicing and auto finance companies, bank and non-bank lenders, and others involved in state and federal court cases. Kevin’s experience extends to areas such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, and other state UDAAP (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices) laws, and related statutes.

Prior to joining McGlinchey, Kevin practiced labor and employment litigation, achieving favorable outcomes for his clients in bench trial and appellate settings. He is known for his exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills, and he places great importance on building strong relationships with his clients and opposing counsel. Kevin’s creative problem-solving approach complements his strong sense of responsibility when advocating for his clients.
Licensed to practice in Ohio, Kevin received his J.D. cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. He also received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Cleveland State University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
