CMBA 2025 Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference

Sandy Shatz (Irvine) will present two sessions at the California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA) 2025 Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference in Irvine, California, on December 8, 2025. First, he will present “Yogi Berra Does Legal Ethics.” This presentation will address (in nine innings) an array of ethics issues, looking at legal ethics issues encountered by in-house counsel and retained outside counsel and framed by various of the Rules of Professional Conduct.  

Sandy will then co-present a “Private Service Provider-Only Session” focused on collaboration. This session is exclusively for mortgage industry service providers. It offers a candid environment for open discussion, collaboration, and peer-to-peer idea exchange. Attendees will have the opportunity to share insights, address common challenges, and explore strategies to better support lenders, servicers, and the industry as a whole in a private, solutions-focused setting.
