Litigator Jordan Goldfarb Joins McGlinchey in Fort Lauderdale
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Jordan Goldfarb has joined the firm’s Enterprise Litigation and Investigations group as Of Counsel in the Fort Lauderdale office. Jordan represents the insurance industry and others in civil litigation and investigations. Jordan is one of 13 attorneys McGlinchey brought on in May, and the firm has hired 33 attorneys as of July 28, 2023.
With experience as in-house and outside counsel, Jordan brings deep familiarity of the nuanced laws at play in the insurance field, with particular knowledge of first-party property damage matters. He also counsels clients regarding policy language, claim handling guidelines, and regulatory interactions. Jordan previously worked for Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Inc.

Jordan has a robust civil litigation practice as well, handling everything from contract disputes, subrogation, and fraud cases to commercial claims, allegations of bad faith dealings, internal disputes, and appellate matters. In a variety of commercial litigation, he is adept at handling pre-suit and litigated matters arising from insurance claims, advising carriers regarding investigative findings, and recommending cost-effective strategies for claim handling and litigation defense.

Jordan received his J.D., cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law in 2014. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and inter-disciplinary social sciences from Florida State University in 2009.
