McGlinchey Ranked in 3 Categories as Top Firm for Diversity, Women by Vault

McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that the firm has been ranked nationally among many AmLaw 100 and 200 firms in three categories on Vault’s 2024 Best Law Firms for Diversity rankings:

• #12 Best Law Firms for Racial and Ethnic Diversity
• #20 Best Law Firms for Women (up from 2023’s ranking of #30)
• #27 Best Law Firms for Diversity – Overall

Vault’s annual Best Law Firms for Diversity lists are derived from its Annual Associate Survey, conducted from January 2023 through March 2023. The diversity rankings are “based on each firm’s associates’ rankings of how the firm does at creating, maintaining, and fostering a diverse workforce.”

McGlinchey is committed to fostering equity through diversity and inclusion in the firm and across the profession through various external and internal DE&I programs. In May of 2023, McGlinchey achieved the Midsize Mansfield Certification following a rigorous 18-month process led by Diversity Lab. The Midsize Mansfield recognition certifies that McGlinchey aims to track, measure, and achieve diversity in law firm leadership. As participants in the second certification cohort, McGlinchey is among the first 100 firms to achieve this recognition to date in the U.S. and Canada.

McGlinchey also prides itself on its involvement with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) since the organization’s founding in 2009. The firm is a 2022 recipient of LCLD’s highest honor, the Compass Award, for the third year, and has been named a “Top Performer,” a designation reserved for the most active LCLD member corporations and law firms, every year since 2018.

Within the firm, McGlinchey relaunched its McGlinchey PRIDE LGBTQ+ resource group in 2022 and the Uplift McGlinchey Women’s Initiative in 2021. Today, the firm is proud to report that 50% of Office Managing Members across its 17 offices and 40% of its executive Policy Committee identify as diverse.
