Double Honor: McGlinchey named ‘Best Place to Work’ in Baton Rouge, New Orleans
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that both of its Louisiana offices have been honored this month among the “Best Places to Work,” by Baton Rouge Business Report and New Orleans CityBusiness, respectively.
This is the third year in a row McGlinchey’s New Orleans office has received this honor. Both recognitions are based on independent surveys of the office’s employees.

McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge office debuted at #11 in the “large company” category (for businesses with more than 250 employees nationwide). The New Orleans office was one of 12 “large companies” recognized (not numerically ranked).

McGlinchey’s New Orleans office drew attention when it “swept” the awards at the New Orleans Bar Association’s “Bar and Grille” competition in April, winning six categories including “Best Overall.” Funds raised through the event supported the Veteran Justice Fellowship.

In Baton Rouge, the firm proudly supports a number of local organizations, from Southern University Law Center’s Expungement Clinics and UREC (Urban Restoration Enhancement Corporation)’s Pre-Law Institute for high school students to the Junior League of Baton Rouge, The Emerge Center, Capital Area United Way, BREADA/ Red Stick Farmer’s Market, and others.

Founded in 1974, McGlinchey’s New Orleans office is home to more than 100 attorneys and administrative professionals. McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge office was its second (of 17) and remains the second-largest, with 50 employees. These two offices house the core of the firm’s business operations, including human resources and benefits, recruiting and talent acquisition, marketing and business development, IT and training, accounting, library services, and many members of the Senior Administration team.
