ACC Louisiana Professionalism and Cannabis in the Workplace CLE Programs

The ACC is a global bar association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel through information, education, networking opportunities, and advocacy initiatives.
Kristi Richard (Baton Rouge) and Zelma Frederick (Baton Rouge) will present “Professionalism.” This session will discuss the practical and legal analysis of hot topics in employment law and how legal professionals should respectfully treat fellow lawyers, employees, and representatives of the bench and clients with regard to their diversity, cultural identities, and other differences.
Andrew Albritton (New Orleans) and Chase Stoecker (Fort Lauderdale) will present “Cannabis in the Workplace.” This session will explore recent state laws that have passed that address marijuana use in the workplace, federal workplace safety in the cannabis industry, drug testing laws, the intersection of federal and state laws, and more.
