McGlinchey Hires 3 Litigation Associates in Houston
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce the hire of three litigation associates in the firm’s Houston office. Georgia Berthelot, Jessica Bozell, and Katherine Zellner are among the 50 new attorneys McGlinchey welcomed in 2023 as part of its focused recruitment initiative aimed at expanding its nationally recognized team. Georgia joins the Financial Services Litigation practice group and Jessica and Katherine will practice in the Enterprise Litigation and Investigations practice group. All three are licensed in Texas. Georgia and Jessica worked as Summer Associates and Law Clerks in McGlinchey’s Baton Rouge and Houston offices.

Georgia Berthelot represents financial institutions, banks, and mortgage and auto loan servicers in various litigated matters and disputes. In particular, she represents lenders and servicers in claims brought under federal and state consumer protection statutes as well as Texas’s home equity lending statutes.
Georgia served as a Judicial Intern for the Hon. David A. Ezra, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. She holds a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as President of the International Law Society, Vice President of External Relations of the Association of International Energy Negotiators, and Treasurer of the Aggie Bar Association. She also holds a B.A. in English from Texas A&M University.
Jessica Bozell represents clients who come from the maritime, transportation, construction, insurance, financial services, restaurant, retail, real estate, and other industries in civil litigation. Jessica works on issues ranging from breach of contract, fraud, and business disputes to trucking and casualty cases, torts, and equipment liens.
Jessica holds a J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she graduated in 2023 with a certificate in Estate Planning and Taxation. At LSU Law, Jessica was a Senior Editor for LSU Law’s Journal of Energy Law and Resources’ Executive Board. She also served as Barbri’s Head Student Ambassador for the law school and on LSU Law’s Board of Advocates. She earned a B.A. in English, cum laude, in 2020 from Indiana University.
Katherine Zellner is a litigator who handles casualty, professional liability, and business disputes. She primarily represents Realtors, brokers, attorneys, businesses, business owners, non-profits, and others in commercial litigation. Previously, Katherine practiced as the briefing attorney for Hon. Larry Weiman of the Texas 80th District Court and worked for the Community Advocacy Team of Lone Star Legal Aid’s Equitable Development Initiative. She holds a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and a B.S. in Legal Studies, cum laude, from University of Houston Clear Lake. Katherine has also owned and operated a small business in Houston since 2010.
