Dylan Reeves named ABA Consumer Litigation Co-Chair
Read Time: 2 minsMcGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Nashville Member T. Dylan Reeves has been appointed 2025-2026 Co-Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA)’s Consumer Litigation Committee within the ABA’s Litigation Section.
Dylan primarily practices business litigation, consumer financial services litigation, and appellate law. He is a courtroom lawyer who has won many dispositive motions, taken hundreds of depositions, tried several jury and bench trials, and advocated in dozens of appeals. He represents companies in a broad range of commercial litigation, products liability, shareholder disputes, toxic torts, class actions, title insurance defense, multidistrict litigation, bankruptcy, and appeals. Licensed in Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas, Dylan also maintains a presence in McGlinchey’s Birmingham, Dallas, and Jacksonville offices.
“I look forward to serving the legal profession in this role, working with the committee to advance awareness and education of the complex laws and regulations that govern consumer-facing businesses,” Dylan said.
The ABA’s Consumer Litigation Committee focuses on the rights of consumers and on issues relevant to businesses whose operations are impacted by the laws and regulations that protect consumers.
Originally joining McGlinchey as an Associate in 2015, Dylan was promoted to Member and also serves as a leader of McGlinchey’s Appellate Team. He earned a J.D. cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law and a B.A. from Samford University. He is the author of Tilley’s Alabama Equity’s fifth and sixth editions.
As Co-Chair of the ABA Consumer Litigation Committee, Dylan will help steer the committee’s agenda in addressing emerging trends in consumer litigation, fostering best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders across the legal profession. His experience in consumer litigation and advocacy brings strategic insight and depth to the ABA’s work in this area.
